Mike joined Seminole Financial Services in 2011 with over 30 years of experience in financing multifamily, senior, and healthcare projects in the United States. Mike’s previous experience includes Newman and Associates (a privately held investment bank) where he served as a partner and founded Newman Mortgage Securities, serving as its Executive Vice President. He also assisted in founding Newman Capital, a billion-dollar multifamily mortgage trust. Mike remained with Newman when it was sold to GMAC in 1998, and when GMAC Commercial Mortgage was sold to KKR and Goldman Sachs in 2005. Mike has financed projects in 29 different states, and has been a member of the Board of Directors of National Multihousing Counsel, NHRA, The National Seniors Housing Association, and the Health Care Study Group, and has published articles in five different national real estate journals. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in history, an MBA, and completed the requirements for his Master’s in Accountancy at Florida State.
